Pennock Delighted With Barrow's Positive Results

By Tom Feaheny

Ady Pennock says the results Barrow have picked up in recent weeks including a 1-1 draw against Wrexham shows the progress they are making.

An early Moussa Diarra effort was cancelled out by Shaun Pearson as Barrow gained a point against one of the sides battling for promotion, writes Tom Feaheny.

"I'm delighted, it's a big time of the year for us, it was nice to get the point at home for our fans against a good side," Pennock told Radio Lonsdale.

"We are going in the right direction, against teams ahead of us, we are matching them and getting positive results.

"The group have worked on set-pieces in training and we can see the progress in that respect as well."

Tomorrow they take on Solihull Moors with Pennock hopeful a couple more players will return to selection.

"We've have had a few out with flu, hopefully that goes before the next match."
