Penncock Believes Barrow Can Start Unbeaten Run Now

By Tom Feaheny

Barrow boss Ady Pennock says his side's performances in the last two games shows they have what it takes to have a good end to the season.

The Bluebirds have picked up four points from their last two matches, with a draw against Sutton United then a win at Maidstone United, writes Tom Feaheny.

"We wanted to follow up the performance from Tuesday, we did just that and got a win that really helps the side," Pennock told the club's website.

"Our shape was good, the performance was good, we know we have to build that."

With a number of personnel changes taking place in recent weeks, Pennock believes the improvements are there to see.

"I have players that want to do well, just like the ones who were here before to be fair, roll up their sleeves and that is what we need to keep doing. The side has a bit more pace, a bit more of a threat there is also that belief as well."

"I want this side to go on a run now, we have shown that we can achieve a high level of performance and we want that to continue now."
