Pearson Earns Harriers Deal

Kidderminster Harriers have signed 24-year-old defender James Pearson on a deal until the end of the season.

The former Rotherham United and Leicester City man joins as a free agent having left SkyBet League Two side Coventry City last month.

He had caught the eyes of Sky Blues management during a successful pre-season trial.

At ease either at the heart of defence or right-back, Pearson has also featured for Peterborough United and Wrexham.

He’s available for a debut, if selected, against Deeping in tomorrow’s Emirates FA Cup tie.

He commented: “I’m looking forward to it and it will be good to get playing again.

“The FA Cup is always something good to be a part of and we’re looking forward to going up there and, hopefully, coming away with a win to get into the next round.

“Everyone looks forward to the FA Cup, it’s a great competition”.
