The Robins blew Alfreton away last weekend with seven goals on the road, and beat title chasing Chorley 5-3 on Saturday.
Promoted last season, the club have loved life back in the National League North and are playing some eye-catching football.
They have now scored 80 goals this season - more than anyone else in the division.
“I think anyone who has been watching us can see that we’re coming into form at just the right time,” boss Parkinson told Alty TV.
“That takes us top of the scoring charts, which is something I’m really pleased to see.
“Chorley found our attackers a real handful because they are very good at what they do.
“But it’s not always the best individuals. It’s often the best group who do well at the end of the season.
“We’re lucky. We have a fantastic group with depth and togetherness.
“When Chorley got it back to 3-3 they said ‘no, we’re not going to let this happen’. They got a great desire.”
