Parkinson: Alty Will Be Alright If They Realise Potential

Altrincham boss Phil Parkinson said he knows side have the potential to challenge in the National League North.

But he warned that if that potential isn't realised, it won't mean anything.

He was speaking to the club's YouTube channel following Alty's 3-1 win over Alfreton Town.

Parkinson said: "There's a reason that midfield play every week at the moment. They've been consistent and we've been right at it defensively.

"Even though we conceded today, we're so much more solid than we were at the start of the season.

"It's because we've been heavily analysing what we need to work on and I think it's evident for everyone to see.

"We've got the potential to be a good team at this level but potential doesn't mean anything if you don't realise it.

"Everyone's really positive at the minute and we're really happy with how the ships going."
