The Heed have now hit 31 goals this season following Tuesday night’s brutal 4-0 win at Court Place Farm.

Jenkins told the Oxford Mail why he was so impressed with the North East club, who sit in fourth after their sixth win of the season.
Gateshead have struck 17 goals in just five games and they are leaving making a big impression on rival managers.
“They were brilliant and probably the best team we’ve played so far,” the Oxford manager said after the one-sided evening. “Some of the football they played was outstanding.
“We weren’t good enough and they were very good, very sharp and very good in possession. We struggled to cope with it at times.
“We had a couple of chances to score but we didn’t take those. They took theirs and they took them in a good manner. No arguments at all – we were beaten by the better team and we hold our hands up.”
