Our Clubs' FA Cup Third Round Fate Has Been Decided

By Sam Elliott

The four remaining National League clubs have discovered their FA Cup third round fate after the draw was made at Anfield.

Three of our sides know for sure they’ll be in the thick of it come January as the Premier League and Championship clubs enter the fray.

Chesterfield, Boreham Wood, pictured, and Wrexham are all guaranteed their place with Dagenham requiring a replay against Gillingham, a game which will be live on BBC Three on Thursday December 8.

The winner of that tie will earn a home game with 2021 winners Leicester City.

West Brom await Chesterfield after they disposed of AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.

It’s a trip to Coventry City for Wrexham following their second round win over Farnborough.

Boreham Wood, who beat Bristol Rovers on Sunday, welcome the 2007 Conference champions Accrington Stanley.

This year’s third round weekend will take place across the weekend of Saturday, January 7.

Winning clubs will collect £105,000 from the competition’s prize fund.
