Orient Given Easy Ride At Woking Admits Limbrick

By David Richardson

Woking's 100% home record came to an end yesterday - and it was easy going for Leyton Orient reckons Cards boss Anthony Limbrick.

Former Woking striker Macauley Bonne returned to the Laithwaite Community Stadium to haunt the home side, scoring twice in the second half to see the O's through to a comfortable 2-0 win. Watch Match Highlights Here.

Under new manager Limbrick, Woking have taken six points from a possible 15 after victories over Gateshead and Eastleigh.

But those winning standards weren't reached yesterday, he said: "In all the areas of the game that we are about, our pressing, our tempo, our passing, our getting tight to people, our creating chances for crosses, we just didn't do.

"I thought we made it an easy day for Leyton Orient and after the tough result they had on Tuesday and the good result we had, you would have thought this game was round the wrong way.

"I thought the players gave a massive effort, worked hard and tried but we didn't put together what we wanted to like we did on Tuesday night.

"I didn't think we created enough good chances and their keeper didn't have enough saves to make. We didn't put enough pressure on them by passing the ball and moving it well. The first goal was important but I thought coming in at half-time that even though it was 0-0 we hadn't played at our best.

"We can play at lot better than that and we have shown we can in the last two home games against Gateshead and Eastleigh. We didn't get to that level in this game."
