The 19-year-old’s attitude isn’t the issue - his goals and performances are, after netting for the fifth time in pre-season against East Thurrock.
Orient have numbers in attack with main man Macauley Bonne, new signing James Alabi, targetman Matt Harrold and veteran David Mooney all vying for starting places.
It’s Koroma who has been the club’s stand-out player in pre-season and he came off the bench to score again in the 4-0 win at East Thurrock United.
Edinburgh says a dylema up front is a problem he is happy to have.
“He has come back with the bit between his teeth,” the manager said to the club’s online video channel. “If he keeps doing that he is going to cause me problems with selection.
“They are the problems I want. We know he is doing well and we know there is even more to come from him.
“He looks sharp, effective and looks a real threat. He’d been fantastic.”
Edinburgh is happy with the way his team appear to be shaping up.
“We were playing against a strong side who are a lot like the type of teams we’re building up to face,” he said.
“No injuries was pleasing. We’ve got to be looking to step up and go through the gears. In terms of getting minutes into players we’re building up nicely. It’s about coming out after half-time and getting into the mindset of getting your legs, body and mind working again.
“We looked a little rusty at the start of the second half but we were able to kick on.”
