Searle, who saved the club from the drop last season when things look perilous, says the points will come providing the hard work on the train pitch does as well.
Ebbsfleet host Woking this weekend before a game against the manager’s former club Braintree Town.
He spoke to KentLive about the challenging first two weeks and says only putting in the hours will turn the tide.
“We’re a club that survived on the last day of the season last year,” he said. “That’s a bit of a reality check for us.
“We were never going to go from being a team that survived on the last day to being a team who are favourites to win the league.
“We just need to keep working hard on the training pitch, we need to stay together as a group of players and a group of staff and as a club.”
