Old Trafford? Tyler's Allegiances Are At Kingfield!

By Steven Coney

Legendary commentator Martin Tyler has finally revealed who he supports - and it’s National League side Woking!

Tyler, who helps out coaching at National League South side Hampton & Richmond Borough, has talked us through some of the most iconic matches in recent history but fans have always wondered who he follows.

Rumours have circulated around social media for years but the man himself has now cleared everything up.

No, he doesn’t support Manchester United, Arsenal or Liverpool. Tyler is a Cards fan!

“I don’t do social media and this is one of the reasons why,” he said in an interview with the Mirror.

“They all think I support somebody. I support Woking and I am quite happy to say that.

“This thing where you have to have a Premier League team is garbage. It’s the accident of birth.

“It’s the one thing that irks me when people say you must have a Premier League team. I absolutely categorically don’t.

“It’s a great bonus to not have a Premier League team. I’m probably the only commentator to not have a Premier League club.”
