The Wood squad contains four former Cards in Keiran Murtagh, Bruno Andrade, Dan Holman and Mark Ricketts, who spent seven years as captain at the club.
Meanwhile, Woking assistant manager Jason Goodliffe returns to his old club, having held the same role at Boreham.
Their seasons have been similar too. Anthony Limbrick's side sit one place above Wood, in eighth, and both club's are involved in big FA Cup second round ties next Sunday. Woking host Peterborough United while Boreham head to Coventry city.
Luke Garrard's side drew 0-0 at high flying Macclesfield last weekend before thumping Maidstone in mid-week.
"We're really looking forward to getting back home, it's been two tough journeys," he said. "They were very rewarding, especially on Tuesday to come away from Maidstone winning 4-0. The boys are in high spirits and confident. We're looking forward to playing Woking, it's another test for us and opportunity to get points on the board.
"I worked with Anthony 10 or 12 years ago now and Jason Goodliffe returns 18 months after being assistant manager here. I'm looking forward to seeing them, they've done a fantastic job at Woking.
"They have a good, athletic, young squad that like to play. If given the opportunity they'll look to make the pitch big. They have quality and pace in wide areas.
"On their day they're very good. They play a certain way but it's about what we do. If we play anything like we did on Tuesday, there's not a match in this league."
