It’s been a tough time for the National League club who have slipped to 11th after a bad run.
But against title chasing Aldershot on Saturday they showed signs that the next win isn’t too far away.
Okenabirhie in particular was a threat and he thinks the tide will soon turn.
“I feel like I am getting back to the form I was in last season before I got injured,” said the Daggers man.
“We’ve not been on a great run lately but we have a lot of talented players here and I’m certain that come the end of the season we’ll be challenging at the top end of the table
“I have targets in mind. I have enjoyed my experience with the England C squad when I have been selected, hopefully now that I am back playing regularly again the manager Paul Fairclough will select me in his squad again.
“Clubs in higher leagues have shown an interest in me, at the moment I am focused on playing consistently well for Dagenham,” he added.
“I am confident I can play higher should the chance come along but you can’t think about that on a Saturday you just go out and play your best.”
