Alan Dowson has won the race for the centre-forward - and the manager says he has a point to prove.
The 25-year-old played for Dartford last season in an injury interrupted campaign and the forward says he wants to help take the Cards back up.
Woking has lost a number of players in the close season but their new manager says those he has managed to bring in could have the club at the right end of the National League South table.
“Duane is a big strapping centre-forward and he's got everything to prove,” said Dowson, who joined Woking from Hampton last month.
“He had a disappointing season last season but watching him train today he's absolutely flying."
