Ofori-Acheampong Back And Ready For Dartford Business

Dartford's forward line could soon be boosted by a first start of the season for striker Duane Ofori-Acheampong.

After a great season last time out, the powerful frontman could be back in the starting line up very soon.

He is now back in full training and manager Tony Burman is delighted with his progress after recovering from knee surgery this summer.

has been a substitute in the club's last few fixture but is now pushing for his order start in the Vanarama National League South.

Burman is over the moon to have Ofori-Acheampong back in contention but urged caution.

Manager Tony Burman said: “We are so happy to have him back in our squad.

"No player likes sitting out the start of the season and he is keen to get back playing regularly but we have got to be careful. He had an important operation, let's remember.

"But it's like having a new singing. Hopefully he stays injury free because he is an excellent player and very important to us."

It's back to League action this weekend for the Kent club as they welcome Bognor Regis Town to Princes Park.
