O, That’s Champion! Orient Seal Title And Club’s EFL Return

Delighted Justin Edinburgh hailed his Leyton Orient heroes as they clinched their return to the EFL.

The 0-0 draw at home to Braintree was enough to secure the National League title.

There were wild celebrations at the full-time whistle as Orient did what they had to and got the champagne flowing in E10.

The game was live on BT Sport and they captured the after party as the players took the applause from a sell out crowd.

There were a few nervy moments but as it turned out it mattered little as Salford and Solihull both dropped points.

Orient are up and their manager believes they are worthy winners.

Edinburgh said: “It’s wonderful achievement from a wonderful group.

“There’s a pressure here - we know the fans have big expectations and why shouldn’t they?

“It was so important we delivered and today we got over the line.

“It’s been a great season. The boys have been fantastic - we want this to be just the start and hopefully the club can now really move forward.”
