Nuneaton Boss Maamria Wants More Of The Same

Nuneaton Town boss Dino Maamria says his side showed what they can deliver after a 4-1 win against Tamworth and wants a repeat performance.

Nuneaton were 4-0 up with half an hour gone and that ensured their victory on Boxing Day with the two sides meeting again on New Years Day, writes Tom Feaheny.

"I think we were brilliant, that first half especially. I think the performance was there for all to see the last time we played," Maamria told the club's website.

"I know the last couple of results have not gone our way against Barrow and Kidderminster, but people that watched those games they will that there is a team that is building certain habits.”

"The results were always coming. That first half an hour especially we were outstanding, it could be seven, eight or nine. That is the type of performance that we can produce."
