Harries stunned everyone as they won 2-0 at National League North leaders King’s Lynn on Saturday.
The result was even more remarkable considering Lynn hadn’t lost at home since September 2018.
The interim manager couldn’t have been prouder after Alex Prosser and Ashley Chambers earned a 2-0 win.
But more of this type of display is what the stand-in now needs.
He told the club’s video service: “We have live stats at half-time and we had five chances to their none - that showed our organisation. We had to stick to our principles.
“Sometimes this season we have gifted team goals so this clean sheet in something we can build on.
“We knew that we had to have a willing mentality, play winning football and, first and foremost, defend. I thought the boys were magnificent.
“It shows an ability to stay connected and together as a team.”
Harriers are 16th in the table, and this weekend they host Darlington.
