The 1999 hitmaker has been in touch with Ebbsfleet United promising to do his bit for the club’s quest to raise as much money as possible for Prostate Cancer.
It all began after Fleet’s 2-1 win over Leyton Orient, a game which was live on BT Sport the weekend before last.
Many picked up on the fact centre-back Yado Mambo was wearing 18 - and demands grew that he was handed the number 5 shirt.
Mambo No5 was a cult 90s hit and special shirts have been made an an online auction launched to raise money for charity.
Bega himself has now been in touch and will personally sign the shirt of whoever offers the most.
The current highest bid is £1,650.00 but there is still time to steal a march.
