North Ferriby Add Vastly Experienced Defender To Group

Experienced defender Luke Foster has joined North Ferriby United.

The 31-year-old centre-back started his career with Sheffield Wednesday but left Hillsborough without breaking into the first-team, although he did have loans spells with Scarborough and Alfreton Town.

He moved to Lincoln City in 2005 and played sixteen times for the Imps as well as five for York City on loan.

He also includes Oxford United, Mansfield Town, Stevenage, Rotherham United, Preston North End, Southport and more recently Harrogate Town, Ilkeston FC and Coalville Town amongst his former clubs.

He also earned one England C cap whilst on Oxford`s books in 2008.

Foster is currently commercial manager with SkyBet League One outfit Oldham Athletic.

North Ferriby have made a disastrous start since being relegated last season, losing all three opening games without scoring and while conceding eleven goals.
