National League North leaders Salford City and Darlington will hope it is third time lucky after an early morning pitch inspection ruled their big game cannot go ahead.
The original match was called off earlier this month but conditions mean both players will have to wait.
Saturday’s programme in the north was problematic, with another high number of postponements.
Curzon Ashton’s league trip to North Ferriby had the rug pulled from under it, while the FA Trophy first round saw a number of disruptions.
Blyth Spartans v AFC Telford United fell foul of an early morning pitch inspection and a frozen pitch also put paid to Spennymoor Town v Gainsborough Trinity.
Also off was FC Halifax Town v Macclesfield Town, Gateshead v Guiseley, Chesham United v Weston-super-Mare. All five will try again this Tuesday.
In the National League South the only game between Hemel and Chelmsford was also called off.
A Darlington statement confirmed: “After an inspection by a suitably-qualified referee, today’s game against Salford has been postponed because of a frozen pitch.
“No new date has been set for the fixture.”
