No Manager Of Month Curse For 'Proud' Ammies Boss

Graham Alexander said he was proud of his Salford City side after they made it eight wins in nine games.

The Ammies made the long trip to managerless Dover looking for their seventh win a row.

And there was no sign of the Manager of the Month curse for Alexander and his side as an Adam Rooney hat-trick sent them on their way.

Speaking to the club's YouTube channel, Alexander was full of praise for his team.

"I'm proud of the players performance, attitude and commitment to the game and it was an excellent performance.

"I know Dover's issues and their form but if you don't do it you can put yourself in a bad position but apart from a five minute spell after half-time, we controlled the game.

"We're really pleased to come away from home and get four goals and continue this run we're on."

He added, "we scored four excellent goals and could've had a coule more."
