The Championship side will be the first opportunity for the players who will start the season with the Gulls. There may also be the chance for two or three trialists who the club are still interested in signing as they look to add to their squad ahead of the league starting at the beginning of August, writes Tom Feaheny.
Previous pre-season games have seen trialists and youngsters given a chance. Speaking to the club's website about what the squad have gained so far, Kevin Nicholson said: “The last ten days has been all about making sure our lads are athletically where we want them to be.
"Making sure we do all the right things and they get to know each other, because they are effectively a group of strangers.
“This week there is a lot more football based stuff. A lot more real football. And then it is about trying to build chemistry and relationships on the pitch.”
After this match they will also have two other home matches as they face new League One side Plymouth Argyle on Tuesday July 18 and finish by playing Truro City on Friday July 28.
