Ngwatala Set For League Move

Kidderminster Harriers chairman Colin Gordon has said he has accepted that midfielder Elton Ngwatala won’t be returning to Aggborough this season as he readies himself for a move to League One.

The Frenchman had been offered a new deal this summer but is now set to join his former Harriers team-mate Arthur Gnahoua in moving up into the Football League.

The former Paris St Germain youngster put in some memorable performances and goals during his stay in Worcestershire, netting 10 goals in fifty-seven appearances since Christmas 2015.

Gordon explained: “I am pretty sure he has his next move sorted.

“He’ll be moving to League One as well as Arthur Gnahoua.

“They brought great excitement down here and were a massive part of what we did last year, so they go with our blessing.

“They came here on £150, both kicking their heels with nowhere to go.

“The first results we’ll be looking out for is theirs – we’re really excited for them because they’re great lads.

“We want to give the opportunity to other lads like that”.
