New Whitehawk Boss King Says More Changes Are Afoot

Steve King says more players are on their way to Whitehawk as they look to drag themselves off the bottom of the Vanarama National League South.

The Hawks are still yet to win a game - but new boss King won’t give up hope.

The manager added four new players before their game with Wealdstone - adding a high number he brought it when he took over.

Although they eventually lost 2-1, the quickly assembled side earned praise after a difficult afternoon in north west London.

King says that won’t be the end of the changes at the Enclosed Ground as the returning boss searches for the right formula.

King told the club’s website: “There is 100% more positives to take from this game than our last game, which is a testament to our lads as we put the team together at the last minute.

“I’ve got a completely new team together in two weeks and that’s not easy to do.

“I’m going into work knowing we have a team now that is capable of winning matches at this level and that wasn’t the case before.

“I am not finished yet either and there will be more changes to come.”
