The 22 year-old Torquay-born forward joined the club in February 2015 on loan and made two appearances. He has made four appearances for Northern Ireland under-21 side scoring one goal.
Player-manager Kevin Nicholson is happy to add Jamie to his squad: “He’s very highly-rated at Exeter.
“Robbie Herrera knows a lot about him, as do I. He’s come in because he’s the type of player than can play with either of the other two strikers. We could probably play them all up top if we wanted to.
"He’s not come to sit on the bench; he’s come to get into the first eleven. He’ll be pushing Blissett and Williams to be at their best, and if they are with the firepower that they have I’d imagine they’ll score a fair few goals.”
Meanwhile, Gibraltar international goalkeeper Jamie Robba has agreed terms on a one-year contract, and will sign for the club subject to international clearance.
Robba has been on trial with the club for the last month and played in United`s 1-1 draw away to Tiverton Town.
He arrived in England as a result of a link with Torquay United assistant-manager Robbie Herrera.
His career so far has played most of his career in Gibraltar aside from a spell with French side US Le Pontet.
The ‘keeper came to international attention playing for Gibraltar against World Cup holders Germany and made a series of eye-catching saves in a 4-0 defeat.
“Jamie is coming in to push Brendan Moore,” said Nicholson. “He’s a good lad who has done well in training.
“He played against Tiverton in pre-season which probably wasn’t the best game for him to play, as he hasn’t played for quite a while.
“I can only see him improving as a player and he seems like the kind of character we want about the place”.
