New Stand Plans at Maidstone

Plans for a new stand at the Gallagher Stadium will be unveiled next week.

Maidstone United directors Terry Casey and Bill Williams will present artist impressions and plans on June 30th.

The new stand, which will be similar in height to the Conway main stand, will accommodate about 1,750 standing spectators.

The planning application contains a range of features to go with the new stand: flexible seating, facilities for disabled spectators, toilets, food outlets, new entrances and exits etc, although not all of these will be built immediately for financial reasons.

Once completed, the stadium’s capacity will rise to 4,200 – more than meeting the National League’s requirement.
