New Keeper for Port

Goalkeeper Ryan Crump signed at the Merseyrail Community Stadium to join Vanarama National League club Southport.

A tall and athletic goalkeeper, with international honours for Scotland up to under-17 level, he started his career with Liverpool.

After his release from Anfield, Crump joined Blackburn Rovers in August 2014 after impressing on `work experience`.

He featured mainly for the under-21 side at Ewood Park.

After agreeing terms with manager Andy Bishop, Crump will compete with Ty Belford for Port`s number one spot.
