We’re delighted to present the National League’s Manager, Player and the Volunteer of the Month to you as the season really starts to take shape.
The campaign’s second month saw one club in particular gobble up most of the attention from outside - and that’s where two awards are heading.
Wrexham have made the news all over the world - and the club’s players put in some A-List performances.
Dean Keates guided his team to wins over Hartlepool United and Aldershot Town - but they saved their best for Sutton United, dismantling the second place side 4-0 at the Racecourse.
They also grabbed a very handy point at Bromley last weekend in challenging circumstances as well.
In their notable November run, midfielder Luke Young put in some highly impressive displays.
Dragons’ Man of the Match a number of times, he also scored the winner against the Shots - and what a goal it was. He only gets belters!
Keates is your Manager of the Month while Young scoops the Player of the Month glory.
But it’s fair to say not too many would have had winless Yeovil Town down for one of November’s accolades.
But the Vanarama Volunteer of the Month highlights the fact that it doesn’t just matter what goes on on the pitch - off it is rather important, as well.
A strong social media presence is now almost as crucial to the game and to your club as a 20-goal a season striker.
Without it, the message gets lost - and supporters can feel a little isolated.
Sam Collard certainly has a big future ahead of him - as he has shown in his time at Huish Park.
When the club needed someone to step up, he took the bull by the horns and helped drive the club’s online activity forward - and did it all off his own back.
He gives up his time to make sure Yeovil’s media channels and website are incredibly professional with good humour where possible in a troubled first few months.
It’s not just home matches - he travels all across the country, with every away game quite a journey!
Congratulations to our all November Award winners.
