National League Trust Vacancy: General Administrator

By Tom Scott

The National League Trust are recruiting for a General Administrator to join their team.

Want to use your administration skills to make a real difference?

The National League Trust are looking for an experienced person to help our funded projects achieve great things. As a small organisation, this role gives you the opportunity to be involved in many different aspects of our work: including meetings, events and PR activities.

We are looking for a talented person who shares our values and is passionate about making a difference through our funding.
With analytical skills that enable you to make good judgements, and with good communications skills – both verbal and written, you will be expected to work under your own initiative as well as part of a small team.

You should have at least three years’ experience in an administrative or similar role and enjoy having a wide range of tasks to manage. Minute taking is an important part of this role and although training will be given, it will be an advantage if you have experience in this area.

A good working knowledge of Windows 10 is essential and you need to be a confident user of Excel and PowerPoint. Experience of any database programme would be an advantage.

A knowledge of the charitable sector, sport, community development and football in general would also be an advantage.

Working hours are flexible and will be agreed with the successful candidate – so if you have other life commitments, this role may suit you.

Qualifications/training: Further education qualification desirable (such as HND or degree)

Skills
Must be a team player
Have the ability to multitask
Competent self-management skills
Good communicator, both verbal and written
