National League South: Complete Weekend Preview

By Tom Scott

The National League South title race is almost as unpredictable as the British weather at the minute.

Heading into another big weekend, only six points separate leaders Boreham Wood to Dorking who occupy the last play-off place.

The Wood are going great guns having dropped just two points since the end of November - Chippenham are in town tomorrow looking for a first win in three.

Torquay will be praying for a slip-up at Meadow Park. A seventh-straight home win against Hampton & Richmond could see them regain top spot.

Further down in the chasing pack Maidstone host Worthing while Dorking head to Hornchurch who are winless in five.

Elsewhere, Truro head to Hemel with Eastbourne Borough looking to extend their nine-game unbeaten run against Chelmsford City.

Weston-super-Mare know a win against Hemel could see them jump into the play-off places.

Tonbridge Angels are also eyeing a top-seven finish and could edge closer to their dream if they can see off Slough.

Relegation battlers St Albans City have two games in hand on Welling so could do with a win against Salisbury if they're to make use of them.

The division's worst attack face the worst defence when Weymouth host Enfield Town.

Aveley are also mired right in the battle for survival but Farnborough's recent blip should give them belief they can notch a first win of 2025.

Elsewhere, Bath City will be looking to stretch the distant between themselves and the bottom four against Chesham United.
