National League South: Complete Weekend Preview

It’s an important moment for the chasing pack, with sides at the top of the division having their attention diverted.

None of the four clubs nearest the South summit are vying for points on Saturday, so opportunity knocks for those sitting just below them.

Truro City started 2025 with a narrow defeat at leaders Torquay United, but will lump the pressure back on if they make Hornchurch’s long trip to Cornwall a frustrating one.

Eastbourne Borough are a point behind in sixth, and are also at home - but St Albans City arrive on the back of a much-needed New Year’s Day boost.

Dorking Wanderers have ground to make up, and weren’t helped by their match at Hampton & RB being called off minutes before kick-off on Wednesday. They are at home to in-form Bath City, who have won their last three.

Elsewhere, Chelmsford City travel to Enfield Town - who must start winning if it’s not to be a one-season visit.

Farnborough need to find their goal touch again, they’re at home to Chesham, while Weston-super-Mare are suddenly seven without a win. Scott Bartlett takes his team to Tonbridge Angels needing to arrest a slump.
