Hereford have seventh place but they have it by their finger tips and a demanding trip to Leamington is their task to begin 2025.

Darlington are second in the six game form guide and meet South Shields, who may be 12th but are just one point off the promotion places.

Five clubs that sit outside the play-offs could end January 1 inside them. Chester need to beat Southport to find their way in, while Scarborough and Spennymoor Town hope a surge next month could see them play a part. They meet at Flamingo Land.

Those in the bottom four can’t let the gap get any bigger.
