National League North: Complete Weekend Preview

By Sam Elliott

The weekend kicked off with a cracker last night - and there's more to come!

After Scunthorpe United welcomed Kidderminster Harriers in a top of the table clash, what else will be served up today?

Scarborough Athletic have a home game with South Shields who have yet to find any early-season consistency.

Curzon Ashton are happy with their ten-point return from the Nash’s first five games and head to Rushall Olympic looking to add to their total.

Because of pitch work, Farsley Celtic must play all their games away from home for the first six weeks. It’s not stunted them so far with threes victories - and they’re eyeing another at Alfreton Town.

Sam Cox’s Oxford City are yet to really get going - can they change all that by beating Chorley?

Chester are finding their feet slowly but surely and are on home turf as Peterborough Sports pay a visit.

There’s a big North East encounter as Spennymoor Town look to get their away form inline with their home results - Darlington won’t want that to happen on Saturday.

Radcliffe would have wanted more than three points on the board but see no reason why they can’t double their tally when they face King’s Lynn Town.

Needham Market have just one to their name so far and won’t have an easy life at Warrington Town.

Hereford’s nine point return is positive says Paul Caddis and they’re go to Brackley Town looking to make it a dozen.

Leamington are content with their return to the division are fancy hitting double figures when they take on Marine. Meanwhile Southport and Buxton meet after a miserable Bank Holiday weekend.
