National League North: Complete Weekend Preview

By Sam Elliott

Incredibly we still have four sides going strong on 100% going into the weekend, but are things about to turn as quickly as the weather?

There’s a storm brewing already in the National League North and if things are already this tight, we should have plenty to look forward to!

Scunthorpe United are ahead by a nose in the very early race and on Saturday are back in front of their own fans again.

They face a Chorley smarting from a home defeat on Tuesday - but one team who seem to be quick to kick the pain is Kidderminster.

It’s been a perfect start after relegation and this weekend Harries face a tough examination as they head to Warrington.

Curzon Ashton are going about their business quietly - what will a game at Brackley Town bring?

Buxton have surprised many with their flawless first few weeks but nobody gets an easy game at Peterborough Sports.

Two strong staters lock horns as Scarborough Athletic and Farsley Celtic meet while Southport welcome Hereford.

If Spennymoor can get close to their home form on their travels they will be title contenders - can they get the win at

Two newcomers who haven’t enjoyed the first three games collide in an early season big one. Radcliffe and Needham Market both need to get on the board.

Elsewhere Oxford City and South Shields both need a boost while free scoring King’s Lynn Town head to Marine, who need a response after Tuesday.

Leamington and Darlington meet while Chester hope it’s game on after winning in midweek - they are at Alfreton Town.
