The 2019/20 campaign saw Chester and Sutton United take the North and South division titles, respectively.
Five new clubs enter the competition, taking the total to twenty-four across two leagues.
Stockport County, Gateshead and Chesterfield join NLFA North, with Eastleigh and Welling United heading into NLFA South.
Clubs will play home and away against each other and also participate in a cup competition later in the year.
Speaking ahead of the new season, Head of Player Development, Gary Owers, said: “The aim of the National League Football Academy is to provide an environment and player pathway which allows clubs to develop and produce more and better home grown players.
“We were disappointed the inaugural season had to be curtailed, but can now look forward to the beginning of a new campaign.
“The 2019/20 games programme was a strong competition, and proved to be the most competitive outside EPPP.
“The National League and National League Youth Alliance are committed to Youth Development.”
