Nabi Looks To Get The Gulls Going Once Again

New Torquay United signing Samir Nabi has promised to “make things happen” next season.

The Gulls have been relegated to the National League South and are plotting their recovery.

Manager Gary Owers hopes to put together a squad good enough to contest for promotion back into the top flight.

This weekend he moved to sign Nabi, the 21-year-old who was with Carlisle United last season.

He went to Cumbria after a spell in India for Dehli Dynamos in the Indian Super League.

He left fans excited by telling them exactly what he can bring.

“I’m a box-to-box midfielder,” said Nabi to the club’s official website. “I can score goals, I can create goals, and get up and down the pitch and make things happen.”
