The Kent club remain in the bottom four despite their weekend heroics but if they carry on like this, there’s every chance they won’t be hanging around in the danger zone for too much longer.
Bloor doesn’t think there’s any stopping Yeovil, despite the wake-up call they dished out to Mark Cooper’s men thanks in no small part to a sublime Tristan Abrahams hat-trick.
But for his team, he feels it could spark a surge with his team getting better every week.
“I have felt this result has really been coming,” he said. “Our players have been great so far this season, but we’ve just lacked experience. We’ve now got some and it’s starting to show.
“We’ve beaten the side comfortably who will go on to win the league. Mark has a really great side there with some fantastic players.
“There were no complaints from him after, the best side won. We didn’t have one player who wasn’t a seven or an eight out of ten. That’s the best win we’ve had in the league since I’ve been the manager.
“Nothing is ever going to be won or lost by November. It’s taken us time to get going, but over the last couple of weeks we’ve seen encouraging signs.
“We needed to get going, and I’m really looking forward to the second half of the season.”
He says the corner hasn’t been turned and wanted to keep fans grounded with tough trips to Weston-super-Mare and Aveley coming up.
