My Teammates With Brackley Town's Shane Byrne

We've been getting to know the Brackley Town squad with Shane Byrne having his say on his teammates!

Byrne gave his answers to these questions, writes Tom Feaheny.

The Team DJ?

DJ in the dressing room is me, every few weeks one of other lads might be feeling brave and stick theirs on but generally it’s me. Ellis had a go a bit ago and got kicked off after half a song.

First to training?

First in training is normally my car school (myself Alex Gudger Gaz Dean Jimmy Armson) or since he has came in Aaron Williams has been early, but he has got to drive from Newport so leaves 4 hours before training

Last to training?

Last in training is always Glenn Walker Luke Graham and Steve Diggin, every time they just get in on the dot, be too much stress for me I like to be very early.

Biggest eater?

Biggest eater is Jimmy Armson, I never would’ve said him until he was injured for 6 weeks and put on 6kg

Teacher's pet?

Teachers pet would have to be the skipper Gaz Dean. They’ve worked together for about 10 years so you can imagine how it is. They even leave little x’s at the end of their messages.

Worst car?

Browny (Andy Brown) drives around in a battered, 100,000 miles on the clock, moss green Ford Focus.

Best dressed?

Best dressed other then myself would be a toss up between Gudge (Alex Gudger) or Browny. They’ve both got a bit to be fair to them, Gaz Dean always looks smart as well.

Worst dressed?

There are some rascal bits of gear floating about but worst dressed has to be Jimmy Armson. He tries to go so safe but he dresses terribly.

Hard man in the team?

Hard man is the skipper Gaz Dean. Not so much in the sense he tries to fight everybody( even though he would) but he will headbutt, punch and kick absolutely everything and I mean everything, mainly walls though.

Most likely to go into management?

Future manager would definitely be Luke graham. He’s already got his badges and does bits of coaching but can definitely seeing him having a dabble at the managerial side of things in the near future, I mean he is getting on a bit.

Joker in the group?

Joker is Jimmy Armson, he’s a character to say the least. Mainly he’s funny because he’s ugly but he is always messing around acting stupid especially at service stations up and down the country.
