The Pilgrims got the draw thanks a late Brad McGowan strike after Nuneaton subsititue Mitchell Glover looked to have won it for the visitors, writes Tom Feaheny.
Adam Murray spoke to the club's website afterwards and said despite it not being an ideal start to the season, it shows the character the side have.
"We are sticking to what we believe in and trying to get through this sticky patch, we had chances in the first-half, our keeper didn't have a save to make we created those opportunities.
He added: "We have made another error that lets them in, we showed great character to keep going and get that point that was much deserved."
Murray believes that after seven games and seven points on the board they are still developing as they look to start a winning run soon.
"We are trying to find our feet as a team, I have put a lot of expectation on them, it is a building project, we are still finding our feet.
"No one can question the work-rate the endevour, we have to use that as a building block, we have had a lot of ups and downs, we haven't been able to take our foot off the gas, we need to build up that confidence."
