The Pilgrims who are currently 12th in the table, have their rearranged game at the Jakemans Stadium and know a win could see them jump as high 7th, writes Tom Feaheny.
When looking at the importance of being the hosts in this match Murray told the club's website.
"It is a game we did not plan for, we know how important the atmosphere is, we know we can make this place a tough place to come.
He added: "We want the other team to be fighting against not only us as players and the coaching staff but the fans as well, we want to become one, all of us together."
United face a side who lost for the first time at the weekend after an impressive start to their debut in the league, Murray knows it will be a tough game for his side.
"We know they have momentum, they have started really well, we need to put in a performance, if we get the points from that one it will mean a lot."
