That is the view of the club's manager Dean Keates, who goes on the record saying the new-look Dragons squad will be warriors.
"They are the type of players who not only push themselves to the very, very maximum but they also push each other and demand 110%," said Keates.
"Not only that, but there are a number of natural born winners in there now. Of course you can only have one captain leading the team out but there are a number of captains in this squad. That's crucial.
"I feel we have had a good summer, in terms of pre-season and in terms of the recruitment," adds the boss.
"If we can start well you just don't know where it will take you but we need to focus on getting points on the board early and not looking further down the line."
Wrexham begin the season against Macclesfield.
A good start or not for Keates with the club not boasting a fantastic first day record over the years?
"We're at home, that's the main thing," said the Racecourse manager. "Macclesfield like us have been in the league a number of years and are keen to progress back to the Football League.
"We know they pose a threat to us this weekend, it's a difficult first fixture but they all are in this league.
"There just aren't any easy games."
