The Lambs may be without up to seven of their first team players for the Vanarama National League North encounter.
But you won’t find the former Wrexham and Blackpool striker getting down in the dumps about it.
Morrell was short of numbers on Tuesday and they secured a brave draw away to league leaders Brackley Town.
He says they will need to show a similar attitude when the Moors, also chasing promotion, arrive the The Lamb on Saturday.
Morrell said: “It’s been difficult on that front and maybe because of having so many games early on we’ve picked up a few injuries.
“But we’ve got to get on with it, patch ourselves up and go again on Saturday. Spennymoor are a very good side and a lot like Tuesday it’s not ideal going in without a number of big players but that’s how things are.
“We’re at home and our record stacks up, after two draws where we haven’t scored hopefully we can put away a few chances.
“In our last home game we beat Stockport County who are also a really good side so we won’t lack belief, that’s for certain.”
Morrell speaks highly of Spennymoor and their manager Jason Ainsley.
“They’ve had an impressive start and they have been fantastic for a few years,” the Tamworth boss said. “I have been impressed by their results so we know we are in for a very difficult day.”
