More Goals The Merrier For Daggers Ferrier

Dagenham & Redbridge forward Morgan Ferrier ended his mini goal drought by knocking Macclesfield Town off the top of the league.

It was his first goal since September 2nd that was enough to end Dagenham's five-game winless run in all competitions - watch match highlights here.

Ferrier struck in the 50th minute to give the Daggers three important points and preventing Macclesfield from gaining a sixth consecutive victory.

"It was nice to get a goal," he said. "I've been talking to the coaches and they've been telling me to just carry on with the performances and carry on working hard.

"Most importantly I have to do a job for the team, as long as I'm doing that, the goals will come. As long as we're doing well, it's not about me.

"With the team we've got we always feel like if we can keep stable we can always get a goal.

"We are the top goalscorers in the league for a reason."
