Flower's men secured a 3-0 win at Braintree Town on Saturday lunchtime live in front of the BT Sport cameras.
The results leaves the Moors just four points off the top of the table but their manager isn't getting carried away just yet.
"I’ve been in this game a long, long time and you’re only round the corner from going five or six games without a win. Football can change in a heartbeat," Flowers told the club's official website.
"Our aim at the beginning of the season before a ball was kicked was to get to 50 points and were on 39, so we’re 11 away from it.
"If we can get to it by the turn of the New Year, then that would be fantastic. We’ve got an incredibly tough run of fixtures coming up in the next four or five weeks.
"We’re on a good vein of form at the minute. We’re not conceding goals and our clean sheet record is four out of four and we’re scoring goals.
"I’ve got experienced lads in there who’ve gone course and distance. It’s those boys that have got us to where we’re at and let’s see if we can maintain it."
