The 20-year-old was snapped up by Moors a year ago whilst playing for Loughborough University in the Midland League.
A former Chelsea academy player Afolayan had widened his football education in Canada with Toronto before returning to England to complete his studies.
In his debut for Solihull he came on in the 66th minute at home to Sutton United and almost immediately notched his first goal for the club.
Since then he has scored 16 goals in thirty-eight appearances.
Last summer he became the first ever Solihull Moors player to join the Jamie Vardy V7 Football Academy which has seen a steady uptake of the initial forty-two players into the Football league.
It is no surprise that Afolayan, who has probably attracted as much interest from bigger clubs as any Moors player, now joins that Vardy list of hopefuls who have made it into the big time.
In his final game for Moors last week at Dagenham & Redbridge, Afolayan came on in the 70th minute, and just like his first game, scored the third goal of the match within minutes.
