Moore: Something To Build On For Barrow side

By Tom Feaheny

Micky Moore the Barrow interim boss believed the improvement they showed in the second-half is something they can take into their game on Monday.

After taking charge of the side for the first time after Paul Cox left the club on Thursday, Moore felt considering the circumstance leading up to the game it wasn't a bad result, writes Tom Feaheny.

"We let ourselves down in the first-half, we made some changes and had a few choice words and things got better, we played on the front foot, we started to play a bit, the later the game went on we pushed and threatened their goal but just couldn't get it in."

They next face AFC Fylde in a game that is live on BT Sport, with Moore looking forward to his second game in charge.

"I haven't had time to think, we have had to prepare for that game and then the match against Fylde, we know it will be a difficult place to go, we will dust ourselves down and go again.

"We will look to change personnel and the shape as well."
