At 11pm on Wednesday, the National League South club released a short statement saying they are going in a new direction next season.
Moore left Concord Rangers a year ago to take over at Vauxhall Road.
He got off to a great start with the club topping the table following a fantastic first few months of last season.
But that great form didn’t last and the club found themselves out of the play-off places for throughout 2020.
The former Dover, AFC Wimbledon and Leyton Orient midfielder said: “It has come as a massive shock to me, I left like there was some unfinished business.
“But unfortunately the football world is full of uncertainties at the moment and I respect that too.
“I have loved my time at the club and I would like to thank all those who have supported me.”
A Tudors statement read: “Hemel Hempstead Town have parted company with Manager Sammy Moore, Player/Assistant Manager Jack Midson and First Team Coach Darren Beale.
“We would like to thank them for their contribution and their efforts over the past 12 months and wish them well for the future.”
