Moore for Stefan at Moors

Striker Stefan Moore has committed to another season at Solihull Moors.

The 32-year-old has agreed to be part of Marcus Bignot’s squad ahead of the club’s debut season in the top tier of the Vanarama National League.

The ex-Aston Villa hot-shot originally signed for Solihull in December 2014 having developed a formidable reputation in non-League football with Halesowen Town, St Neots Town, Leamington and Brackley Town.

However, Moore came to prominence after captaining Villa to the 2002 FA Youth Cup having represented England at under-15 through to under-19 level.

After leaving his boyhood club in 2005, the Birmingham-born goal-getter went on to play in the Football League with Queens Park Rangers, Port Vale and Walsall before heading to Kidderminster Harriers in 2008.

"We're really pleased with how Stef has returned to pre-season physically. He looks sharp and has really impressed the staff with his performances against Oxford and Birmingham," said Bignot.
