Money Makes No Excuses As Pools Crash Out

Richard Money said sorry to Hartlepool United fans and vowed that they will never see their team play so badly again.
Pools’ FA Trophy dream died as National League North side AFC Telford were too strong.
The Bucks’ well deserved 2-1 win means it’s just one victory in six for the club.
Money didn’t hold back after, telling the Northern Echo: “I can only apologise – it’s not what I want to see and not what I expect.
“We asked the support for more support and to be patient and they were excellent. The players have let them down on the pitch.
“I have to do everything in my power to make sure they never see anything like that again.
“This is not what we wanted but it gives us the chance to reset and we rebuild this club.
“I’m mindful of a lack of confidence at home so I am careful about what I say but what I have seen and what they delivered is not good enough.”
